When styling this book, I thought it would be nice to only use a small selection of clothing
to reflect a simple, transitional-season wardrobe of basics—a gray dress by Velvet, a
pair of dark gray jeans from a local Portland boutique, Bliss, a pair of well-worn wellies,
and a few hand-made pieces.
For the sewn garments, I broke into my small stash of Liberty of London fabric (swoon). I made
two versions of the Wiksten tank and a simple slip dress. Violà—styling complete!
I'm really looking forward to when I can wear these tanks—right now my baby belly is growing (6 months along now), so they don't look very flattering. But, I can be patient...
